The U.S. Department of Energy’s Bioenergy Technologies Office (BETO) hosted the 2019 Project Peer Review on March 4-8, 2019, at the Hilton Denver City Center in Denver, Colorado.
The Agile BioFoundry had a full day of presentations on March 7, including an Introduction and Overview, progress reports on the three current host target systems: Pseudomonas putida, Rhodosporidium toruloides, and Aspergillus pseudoterreus, the Design-Build-Test-Learn Infrastructure, Integrated Analysis, Host Onboarding, Process Integration and Scale-Up, Industry Outreach, and Directed Funding Opportunities and Partnerships.
The ABF also participated in the poster session at the BETO Peer Review, which included posters of seven currently supported ABF CRADA projects with Lygos, Visolis, Kiverdi, Agilent, UGA-Neidle Lab, Teselagen, and LanzaTech; and three ABF-related projects awarded by BETO through the BioEnergy Engineering for Products Synthesis (BEEPS) Funding Opportunity to Lygos, Zymochem, and UCSD.
