Di Liu is a Senior Member of the Technical Staff at NTESS. She received her PhD in Energy, Environmental and Chemical Engineering at Washington University in St. Louis in 2017. Her work at NTESS has focused on metabolic engineering of microbes to convert renewable feedstocks into biofuels and bioproducts. Within the Agile BioFoundry, she co-leads sub-tasks on production of lipids and 3-hydroxypropionic acid.
