Kyle Pomraning

Pacific Northwest National Laboratory

Kyle Pomraning is a senior scientist at PNNL. He received his PhD in Molecular and Cellular Biology at Oregon State University in 2012. His work at PNNL focuses on genetics in yeast and filamentous fungi, multi-omics data integration, and bioprocess engineering to produce sustainable fuels and chemicals. Within the Agile BioFoundry, Kyle focuses on leading research and development efforts in fungal hosts using the DBTL infrastructure. He is co-lead of the Biochemical and Sustainable Aviation Fuel sub-tasks.
