The Agile BioFoundry (ABF) held its third annual All Hands Meeting from July 30-31, 2019 at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL) in Richland, WA.
Our team had the chance to interact face-to-face, report on progress, and discuss approaches to achieving future goals. Participants attended a poster session and a tour of PNNL’s Environmental Molecular Sciences Laboratory, a national scientific user facility. During the meeting’s collaboration conversation time, ABF members met in small groups to discuss challenges and strategies.
“It’s always great to have an opportunity to get the whole ABF team together,” said Nathan Hillson, ABF’s principal investigator. “Thanks to Tim Bays for providing a lunchtime overview of BETO’s Co-Optima consortium, and to Jon Magnuson, Becky Ford, and other PNNL staff for hosting us.”
The All Hands Meeting is held annually, with the venue rotating between the National Laboratories participating in the ABF.
